I have a national decision to convert my King and Heir to Protestant to match my state religion after the reformation... but it costs 2 stab and 20 legitimacy... is it worth it?
I had horrible luck with the Papacy in my Castile game and ended up getting excommunicated, so I converted to escape the excommunication penalties (sorta misclicked whilst deciding whether to do it lol)... but that then screwed up my relations with Naples so I have been unable to start integrating Naples for ~15 years! I just noticed that I have some pretty terrible relations penalties with Naples that I don't remember getting... and wondered if that's related to the discrepancy between ruler religion and state religion?
