is there any other games that are like this but the battles are a bigger aspect of the game?
i and many other HOI fans disagree.mandead said:Yes, get the Doomsday version and patch it. It's very good - the 1945 scenario is excellent; very difficult as the British, but very rewarding!![]()
I've been contemplating about this. I got HoI2 recently and I must say it can't really grab me. It's very easy to grasp, but it's all about war. I couldn't make it past year one. tbh i have never played EU and vicky a little.L'Afrique said:Have you played the same Vicky as the rest of us? Vicky has a very detailed economy, and a comparitively simplified military system.
Unfortunatly the same for me too. I love Vicky and EU2, but I cringe just thinking about some of my HOI gamesI couldn't make it past year one. Got killed by boredom .
The only country I play in 1945 is Spain, that's to declare war on Germany and grab as much stuff as possible before the Allies get in my way. 1936 is fun, but the peacetime is so boring for me. I also liked the little historical combat scenarios.mandead said:Yes, get the Doomsday version and patch it.
