Are the Pasharti Absorbers scripted to be a Purity Order?

The last two times I've seen them in my games, they were a Purity Order, despite not having the civic. Just wondering if this is an unnoticed bug or if they're intentionally unique like the UNE+CoM.

If you don't have Utopia, any AI empire with militarist and fanatic xenophobe ethics will get the Fanatical Purifiers personality.
Unless they have the Barbaric Despoilers civic, maybe.

I have all DLC. The only thing I'm doing is force-spawning them in my games, you know, the little highlighted eagle with lock toggle. By doing do, I had to edit their civilization and re-save it, though I literally did not change anything about them. Oddly their government type changes when I did that. Their absolute default civilization card calls them an Elective Monarchy, and after I re-save them to force-spawn them, they become a Military Dictatorship. However, in my games, they're Purity Orders, despite clearly not having the Purifier civic.

If you would be so kind and helpful, try re-saving their civilization and see if their government type changes. I'm just wondering if PDX has them scripted to always be Purifiers.

Alright, I looked again and I think I found the reason.
There's an event (necroids.4) which replaces their "Cutthroat Politics" civic with the "Fanatic Purifiers" one, if the empire is controlled by the AI.

Code:
        if = {
            limit = {
                is_ai = yes
                has_country_flag = necrophage_start_empire
                has_ethic = ethic_fanatic_xenophobe
                has_ethic = ethic_militarist
            }
            force_remove_civic = civic_cutthroat_politics
            force_add_civic = civic_fanatic_purifiers
        }

So to answer your initial question, yes, they're intentionally unique.

Also, If you change "Cutthroat Politics" by another one (other than Fanatic Purifiers), I guess they would have 3 civics from the start...
