Before anyone comments "The game stop being accurate as soon you play start", don't you worry, i'm talking before you play start

The kingdom of the lombards in the 769 AD start is considered central germanic, and well, I like the german peoples so I decided to do some research on them, and I found this:

"The Lombards gradually adopted Roman titles, names and traditions. By the time Paul the Deacon was writing in the late 8th century, the Lombardic language, dress and hairstyles had all disappeared"

And according to the same text:

"The king was traditionally elected by the highest-ranking aristocrats, the dukes, and all attempts to establish a hereditary dynasty failed."

So the lombards should start with a elective monarchy and either the lombardian culture should be in a italic one or the lombardians should be just a minor cultural group in northern italy, because in the current situation almost the entire peninsula (but a enclave in central italy) is Lombardian/germanic

Of course I can be wrong, so if I am, correct me

Gameplay reasons. As true as the things you've written may be, the Lombard culture is in the German group for reasons of gameplay. Since old Charly should be railroaded to go to war with the Lombards and actually conquer them. If they weren't in the same group, AI-Franks would lose the land pretty fast due to revolts.
As with elective monarchy, since other realms start with that form of government too, there shouldn't be any obvious gameplay reasons against it. It may be an oversight on Paradoxs side, or they may have a valid reason for it. I don't know.

I guess it isn't elective so that it won't flip back to the Alachislings or that megaduke in the south if conquered by Charlemagne or any other foreign ruler. The same thing always happens if Hardrade wins England.

Impossible, I found this after a 20 second research

they may have a valid reason for it.

Probably this, but I don't know it, I mean, there should be a script to fix that, no?
