Are you running any portrait mods? That could be the culprit. PRP will be updated later today.

The only portrait mod I have is a self made one swaps out the Indian potato heads and replaces them with a combination of the persian, iberian and mongol graphics. No other changes. Will have to check and see if a change to portait_propertis.txt is causing this. The bandages showed up at the start of the game before any illnesses.
