Playing my first game in Herbert patch I found pre-sapients on one of my guaranteed planets. I did set the policy to Pre-Sapients Protected before colonizing that planet, but now I can't find them anywhere. I did not see them being purged, but I hadn't watched that planet too closely. I also checked the save-file and, while there is a template for that pre-sapient species, there are no pops. I know it's quite early for this patch, but has anyone else noticed this?
