1.2 allready I think. The capability to display the sprites is there. You just have to find some sprites. Try stony road forum or there's the old HOI 1 sprites somewhere too.

Different levels of sprites for tanks doesn't quite work, for some reason. It does for airplanes. At least in 1.2, I don't know about 1.3.
