Are CO/PI in expectation control mode

There is no way this game will not be great. So many huge additions, the smoother game engine and nice transportation layout options make it juicy.

Only things that continue to worry me are tunnels (I know, the promise has been made they will be released post-launch for free).. and the 4x4 growe able zone size "issue" which doesn't get spoken about much.

If that's the only problem(s) I have, I think CO did pretty good

Yup, they announced tunnels, which is nice. They also announced european styled W2W buildings, which is also nice. You won´t be able to build those on curved roads though. For that they would have to have a reduced collision box. Without they can´t "merge" into each other, thus leaping gaps between the buildings...

For me the best part is that CO/PI didn't really "create" the hype, this time it seems to be genuinely coming from players who like what CO does.

Which is understandable, as the last decent city builder was more than 12 years ago. The masses are pining.
