The Imperial Court of Aragon
Back when Aragon was under the rule of an Iberian, King Juan of Aragon did rule. Soon in time Juan did abdicate his position to another, a Greek whom married his daughter Blanca. Upon the death of Constantine, a son of Juan was put on the throne, Pedro whom would inherit being that Juan had abdicated. Before time could be spent on the throne Pedro fell and Blanca took the throne. Words around in Italy pledged that she abdicate and leave Napoli alone or be excommunicated. This left Alfonso, son of Constantine right to the throne, but not before the influential families of Barcelona spoke in place to put the youngest son of Juan on the throne, Fernando. He was a light age of sixteen, the same as Alfonso but Cortes of Barcelona has had enough of the Greek influence and their spectacular failure that had brought ruin and many days of mourning to the kingdom. He called for an Iberian, Ferdinand, son of Juan. His influence gained support for his idea that soon reached word in Sicily where there was outstanding support amongst nobles that they travelled to Barcelona to support the Iberian king. So it was and all were hopeful that Ferdinand would lead Aragon into the light of greatness and not in the crashing waves of failure...
