I'm not griping or accusing anyone. I am stating in public I have some doubts about how this election was handled and I feel I may have been subjected to an unfair treaty.

My problem isn't with Neil as much as his treaty and the election..oh i see what you are saying. Well just tell me where to PM this treaty and election and I will do so..

and I will kindly thank you for butting out of my business, thanks E-M darling :)

Right, for starters:

Spam, Euro and Jaron, this conversation should not have happened in the National Statistics thread.

BA, if you please:

Portugal suffers -1 morale for 1 year, starting April-June 1426

Constantinople suffers -1 morale for 1 year, starting April-June 1426

Now, as to the Patriarchy, that has yet to be confirmed by the mods, and nothing is official, there. As none of the orthodox players contacted us regarding the election, we may or may not declare it null and void. As stated in the Formation of Russia event, the fate of Orthodoxy is still to be decided.

Continue this discussion in the Asylum, if you please.

With word reaching deep into the realms of the St. Marks alliance and the Islamic church of the unholy alliance with the Infidel there is a reaction

The Populous are shocked. "An alliance with the infidel?! Our god will strike our leaders dead! Heresy!" Open demonstrations are held and religious meetings abound.

An trade alliance that stretches from the Mediterranean to the Channel is born.

It includes Genoa, Savoie, the Palatinate and Burgundy.

Charter for the Trans-European Trade Alliance.

-The Trans-European Trade Alliance goal is to ease trade and increase profit earned by trade for all merchants from member nations of Europe and beyond. More specifically, it will allow the trade of merchandise from one side of Europe to the other, from the Mediterranean to the Channel, and beyond.
- The Trans-European Trade Alliance will be led by a council of member nations, each having one vote. All decisions must be voted upon, including the admission of a new member. A 50% + 1 vote is necessary in all cases. If the vote comes to a draw, the Duchy of Burgundy will break the draw.
- A non-aggression pact is automatically signed by all nations part of the Trans-European Trade Alliance. Military actions from one member toward the other will not be tolerated and will lead to exclusion from the Trade Alliance from the aggressor.
- A Trans-European Trade Alliance merchant is considered by the member nations as an ordinary national merchant. As such, he is not submitted to “foreign trader” taxes, nor should he encounter any bureaucratic paperwork reserved to foreigners.
- No trade embargo by a Mercantile Trade Union member against a Mercantile Trade Union member will be allowed.
- Price for goods exchanged will be set on gold value within the nation. No currency will be imposed on the different realms.”

A couple of Stat related questions:

1. Do I get +1 tech for absorbing the capital of Byzantium?
Yes. BA, if you could implement that, please.

2. When I ceded the Crimea, my eco went down by 1. Now that I have replaced that loss, does it go back up?
It should do, unless BA calculates otherwise.

NEW ORTHODOX PATRIARCH
rel_ortho.gif

• BA, Driftwood (Ottoman Empire) is now playing the Orthodox Patriarch.

• Because the Patriarch's host realm is not Orthodox, please do not give the Ottoman Empire the permanent +1 to morale for having the head of faith.

• Drift's Patriarch gets the full Orthodox Church's powers, as per the rules thread.

Josef :)
