I signed up for the role of Sicily looking at a map that showed it with double the land and with a treaty already present saying that the kingdom of Aragon can annex me at any time

Is it alright if I just change roles?

Please?

Before any problems arise, to my knowledge right to RP the Orthodox Rebels was never officially transferred over to the Lithaunian player. I think a mod should probably make a ruling on this.

fair enough, but for further clarification, those rebels would be ones that were captured by Lithuanian and Russian forces.

Question:

The Martial Bulle says:

Quinta - The Princes of the Empire guarantee free passage for all troops of all loyal Imperial Princes through their lands. This right of universal passage may be removed from a Imperial Prince upon his rebellion against the Empire, or as part of a temporary punishment.

The Emperor or the Imperial Feldmarshal acting for His August Imperial Majesty may grant this right of universal passage to foreign Catholic princes on a temporary basis and subject to the review of the Emperor. All Imperial Princes further take an oath to forbid their soldiers from damaging in any way the lands or peoples of those lawful Imperial States they are passing through.

In the current situation of Pfalz at war against Venice, does it mean I have automatic RoP through other countries' lands, RPed or not?

Must I announce through which country I will be passing officially?

Thanks for the answer.

BB, from past practice (and JG's announcement) one seems to have automatic RoP through the entire Empire. No need to announce anything.

So, someone enlighten me. Aragon declared war upon Venice last turn, probably loading their ships with their armies. A peace was later signed (spirit of his alliance with Venice and all) that turn but remains in a war with England. Assuming the hypothetical loading happened, are those ships still loaded- and thus unloadable next turn- for use against Hungary, as the war with England spanned both turns?

yup, in this case, assuming the hypothetical loading happened, those armies are on ships :)

The Bulle, like all other treaties, need to be accepted and signed by players.
So, you have RoP through played nations only if their current player have accepted the treaty.

NPC nations are considered to have accepted the treaty. Note that this is the only treaty NPC's are considered to have signed!

So, in short: RoP through NPC nations. RoP through those PC nations that have accepted the Bulle.

Sure, Archduke, go ahead. Mecklemburg is yours for the taking.

Please once again visit the National Statistics thread and make a post informing our resident Nat Stats man AugCaesar what your new realm is and what name you have chosen for it's head of state. Now you're ready to post your stupendous court thread!

Please choose between your new role in the Medieval RPG and any role you may have in the 1515 game and adopt that role’s avatar. Either way, please include a mention of your new role in the Medieval RPG in your signature.

We ask that you do not use instant messaging programs like MSN, ICQ and AIM to discuss deals and alliances for the purposes of the game. Doing so generally leads to animosity, mistrust and a lowering of role-playing standards. Unless an RPG Steward is trying to contact you in order to help you understand the game better, it would be better for all concerned if you politely avoid talking about your role in the RPG with other, active players. The forum’s message-posting and private messaging (PM) systems should be all you’ll ever need to play the game.

So I would guess that, through this note (from JG) that I have access to all of the Empire:

* As of now, it is assumed that all Imperial realms - the ones in BRONZE on the map below - NPC or played, grant all other Imperial realms Right of Passage and wish to continue doing so.

Any Imperial player has the right to deny any other Imperial realm, NPC or PC, Right of Passage at any time. I recommend players who wish to exclude certain realms do so NOW!! before the end of the turn.

I haven't heard or read of any Imperial nation, except of Lotharingia, when I was playing it, that has denied this right. Can you confirm, BzAli?

I'm afraid I have to quit the game :(

Sorry for just disappearing for so long but I've had to work all days and evenings for some exams I had this week. The reason I didn't resign earlier was that I was hoping this would calm down a bit but it seems I will have my hands full for at least a month and as soon as school's out I'm drafted. I think it would be best if I left entirely instead of doing a bad job of playing.

Goodbye everyone :)

I hereby resign as Wallachia, before i get booted. I've got less time than I thought, school is longer, while days are shorter. Also, 1558 work is enough for me ATM. I think I can do a comeback one day, but probably not until the summer holiday, or something around that.

As Tulp said, any newcomers arriving after said ruling were made, are not assumed to have signed, unless they do so in this thread.

At the time of the ruling, the Bulle had been invoked under the assumption that all nations had accepted it, and it was thereby necessary to cancel the RoP. Now, only those nations played when said ruling was made (few and far between) are considered signers without stating here. all others need to state their intentions of signing.

Bz,

I have a request if it is at all possible for you to grant. I am going to be leaving for exactly one week tomorrow for spring break. Is there anyway you can lock my court for that time so no bad events can happen while i'm away? (War, etc). I will set up a epidemic of the bloody flux, or plauge or something in Toledo for that time period. If this is at all possible it would be greatly appreciated.

I will have time to do those posts later on this evening so if tomorrow after i'm gone you could lock my court it would be cool. Thanks and I hope this can be done.

Thanks,
KW.
