I doubt there'll be any kind of trouble, but as she is the sister of a deceased HoS, I'd prefer if you secured permission from the new Timurid player before I grant this. Once that is done, however, I'd be glad to grant this permission.

No problem, he can have his character. :)

I would like to try my hand at the RPG one more time. Ive had some experience in the old 1515 as Munster untill time constraints led to me pulling out.

If able I would like to take Ragusa. (which, by the way, has an amazing amount of information online about this era)

Ragusa it is, then.

Welcome back.

Please once again visit the National Statistics thread and make a post informing our resident Nat Stats man AugCaesar what your new realm is and what name you have chosen for it's head of state. Now you're ready to post your stupendous court thread!

Please choose between your new role in the Medieval RPG and any role you may have in the 1515 game and adopt that role’s avatar. Either way, please include a mention of your new role in the Medieval RPG in your signature.

We ask that you do not use instant messaging programs like MSN, ICQ and AIM to discuss deals and alliances for the purposes of the game. Doing so generally leads to animosity, mistrust and a lowering of role-playing standards. Unless an RPG Steward is trying to contact you in order to help you understand the game better, it would be better for all concerned if you politely avoid talking about your role in the RPG with other, active players. The forum’s message-posting and private messaging (PM) systems should be all you’ll ever need to play the game.

I cannot allow you a court for only one person. I will have to ask you to act as co-player for one any nation, or to learn to live without a court.

Your permission to play, whatever solution you choose, is granted, however. :)

Are we allowed to have non-court threads... for instance if two players are lost at sea... could I make a "Lost at Sea" thread?

No. Only nations are allowed courts (and the HRE, through long established precedence... and the Caliph, because he's the Caliph).

Seriously, do we have a white peace rule..or an abandoned territory rule? If I hold Paris for 5 years does it beocme mine?

No hard rules, but an event-mod. In instances like this, there would be an event to force the nation to accept a peace in which certain provinces were handed over.

Oh, and questions in the GQ, please. They risk getting lost in the Lounge. :)

Similar question to DH's, Bz ---

Does the supply limit trace from your closest province, or your closest province connected to your capital?

For example, the Mameluks own Kaffa, which is connected by sea to Cairo, their capital.. but not by land... so is it right to assume they may travel five provinces distance from Kaffa, or are they restricted to five provinces from Aleppo/Jordan?

In your example, the Mam's may draw supplies from Kaffa.

Before people get smart, and think they'll secure provinces scattered all over the world (not that this is tha case with Kaffa, mind you), I'll draw your attention to the inherent reveolt risk any abuse of the rules bring.

Sir,

I wish to be Denmark. Honestly, I want to lead this nation through hell and back, and make an empire... Is that so bad? I want to learn about this era in time, without lectures, and I am very interested in Scandanavian History. Thanks!

I am sorry, but Denmark is not an option for a new player.

You are very welcome to join as a minor nation.
Anything with one or two provinces would be a good place to start.

Aquitaine
Please, tell me this one is for play! This was my immediate second choice, and I am interested in learning about the history of this nation, well... er... its new history. Thank you!

Aquitaine is a vassal of England and would need to be roleplayed as such. This means England gains half of Aquitaine’s econ points, automatically gains right-of-passage through Aquitaine and can expect all forms of homage from Aquitaine, militarily and diplomatically, from a roleplay point of view.

I suggest that you pick another role if you would find this a tough pill to swallow. We do allow the players of vassals to sever vassalage ties, but at the cost of immense penalties. That road is not one for a new player to go down.

With that in mind, do you still want to pick Aquitaine?

Ok, I am ready, IKK suggested to me to be Brandenburg. He said that if I needed help, that he would help me. I hope you will allow me to be this nation. I hope I am not getting on your nerves. ;)

It took some time, but we got there in the end.

Brandenburg it is. Welcome aboard.
