Ok, once my Khanate was annexed by the Timurid Empire, I guess it is time to move on to Genoa! To the glory!

(Btw, I am posting one last post in my court as the Uzbeks, which is an Epilogue).

EDIT: Epilogue is complete. I finnished with the Uzbeks.

Very well. Better luck in Italia than in your last nation.

Please once again visit the National Statistics thread and make a post informing our resident Nat Stats man AugCaesar what your new realm is and what name you have chosen for it's head of state. Now you're ready to post your stupendous court thread!

Please choose between your new role in the Medieval RPG and any role you may have in the 1515 game and adopt that role’s avatar. Either way, please include a mention of your new role in the Medieval RPG in your signature.

We ask that you do not use instant messaging programs like MSN, ICQ and AIM to discuss deals and alliances for the purposes of the game. Doing so generally leads to animosity, mistrust and a lowering of role-playing standards. Unless an RPG Steward is trying to contact you in order to help you understand the game better, it would be better for all concerned if you politely avoid talking about your role in the RPG with other, active players. The forum’s message-posting and private messaging (PM) systems should be all you’ll ever need to play the game.

Wanted a clarification on RoP. What happens when a nation gives your RoP and then goes NPC? Do I need an event?

yes. in fact, you need an event for any RoP through an npc nation. so i suppose after a realm has gone npc, you would need an event granting you RoP.

keep in mind, RoP through NPCs is very rarelly given and the fact that you have a fleet and transport your armies automatically excludes you from being such an RoP being granted. JG was very clear on the point. and i think Bz agrees.

Hmm doesnt that crash with what the rule/policy says about treaties. That treaties is valid unless both the signing parts goes NPC!? Often a treaty can include giving RoP and as I have noticed, the Nat stats list´s valid RoPs until both nations becomes NPC:s or some one cancel them.

Perhaps there isnt any contradiction in this, if RoP is cancelled first when both nations becomes NPC:s, as I have understod that the policy for treaties is there for creating a more stable game and to assure having long term treaties. :)

Well considering that I control the RoP, I have to clerify.

Treaties that have RoP mean nothing without the players both stating outright that the mechanical effect is RoP. That list is only changed when a player says, specifically I give RoP or I take it away. What treaties say is meaningless without the mechanical effects, this is why I published guidelines for nat stats treaties posts, I want people to seriously follow them becaues they make life so much easier.

But IIRC writing the mechanical effects wasn't required when I first eh fell into this RPG. What about the mechanical effects of then?

The guidelines stand as per the announcements thread. It isn't the responsibility of the treaties mod to decifer what mechanical effects players wish to apply, that is why I want the clarification and thusly the guidelines.

Yes, that I understand and I also think that the guidelines announced are very good ones. Im just somewhat confused as it at one point is said that only when both nations goes NPC there agreements is cancelled, when it is just now stated (above) that RoP is cancelled when the nation is NPC. So, as RoP often is part of an agreement as a game mechanical effect, does it still stays in effect until both the signing nations goes NPC or when just one of it does? Or, if understanding your latest statement correctly, does it simply stay in effect regardless of NPC or PC, until its specificly stated as cancelled?

she will have no national ties (to start with) but will mostly move around the mamelukes, oman and the timurid empire

Sure.
I'll reactivate it as soon as this is posted.

I doubt there'll be any kind of trouble, but as she is the sister of a deceased HoS, I'd prefer if you secured permission from the new Timurid player before I grant this. Once that is done, however, I'd be glad to grant this permission.

As I have got time and my schedule have been resolved, I would like to return to Aragon if that is ok.

If I am accepted, could I start a new court?

Yes on both accounts.

Glad to have you back on board.
