I have a question about my morale,
I had 4 originally
I was apostated by the caliph -1

so 3

then I had my conversion event -1

I am now Shia so +1 morale

The apostate does not effect Shia nations so +1 morale tro negate the apostate

So am I at 4

I was just making sure

Well, that's what I have written in the NatStats, since I have followed the same line of reasoning as you have.

It's a title. It's kind of like Byzantium's "Emperor of the Roman Empire" thing -- go ahead and laugh. :D
You don't have to control something to have a title relating to it. ;)

And I'd put things like this in General Questions just in case. Generaly, if it doesn't involve BzAli's job directly, don't put it in national stats. Just to be on the safe side. ;)

I am afraid I have some bad news.

I know I havent been very active for these past couple of weeks, and that has been due to my recent moving of houses and then also to the pressures of final-year schoolwork.
I will try to post as much as possible when I am on, but Im afraid that wont be too often in the near future. I am able to do more these few weeks but in three weeks or so I will have to quit Brandenburg until next year (holidays as well).

I hope this doesnt cause any concern or discontent, and if you wish to boot me out now I shall understand.

Thank you for all your support. :)

To clarify the status of the Golden Horde and Russia, to the best of my ability.

Russia is in effect a vassal of the Golden Horde. The peace treaty that was signed gave me all the rights of an overlord, save that we worked out an alternate tribute, due to their desparate need for money. In game terms, it amounts to an RoP, a sort of alliance and a debt.

Josef!

I would like to officially apply for Aragon, and unofficialy thank you for holding it for me, while I Rp:ed my way out of the Mamelukes. :)

I also wanna make it clear, as I got Pm:s wondering why I left the game, that I didnt leave the game. I just closed one chapter before entering a new one... So dont you woorie... Oncle Yoghurt is still out there, but this time as a good christian! ;)

Yoghurt,

I've been speaking to Txini on MSN, and apparently he is quite keen to take Aragon back, now.

However, since you have gone to the step of winding up your game as the Mamelukes and making yourself NPC, I don't think it would be fair to deny you Aragon at this point.

So, Aragon goes to Yoghurt. Yog, can you do the avatar business, and give your HoS's and your new realm name to Bz, please.

However, I do not know if Txini would like to return to play a noble role within Aragon, or take up a new ream? It's an open offer. :)

Josef :)

- NOTICE -

Folks,

The situation with players handing control of their armies/navies over to others is getting out of hand.

Henceforth, unless specific permission is given to allow it, players will not be able to hand control of their forces to other players.

If being an on-going part of a military campaign is so important to you, make sure you find a computer with connection to send orders with, if you are somehow isolated from yours.

All agreements that have been struck until now to give control of certain armies to other players are now null and void. You're all now solely responsible for your own forces.

Thanks,

Josef :)

On the basis of what I believe is the official party line at the moment, there is no such thing as "leaving" a crusade per se, as every catholic nation is considered a part of the crusade, whether they like it (and are, actually in the state of war) or not.

This also means that your actual participation in the crusade notwithstanding, you will suffer morale penalties for attacking other catholic nations while the crusade is in effect.

You are of course completely free - rule wise - to recall your armies home and/or open separate peace negotiations with countries you are at war with, in order to start regenerating any stats you may have lost/spent.

Of course, the political, in-game consequences of such actions (especially separate peace with the Mongols) could be dramatic (and I believe it could also trigger some nasty events)

I hope it helps :)

Recent Events

.....

As to the recent winter event. I don't get this. It just completely out of the blue and arbitrary to me. For one thing, the Lithuanians historically excelled in this kind of warfare. Not to mention, I am an entire one province away from my nation. In Vorones just across the border.

There was no advance warning that we would get hit like this...Even the Mongols got warned and were able to make choices. Losing two land mil, and tech/morale. I think this is overly excessive and would like to see it overturned.

I just don't see the justification for this. I think its silly and stupid. Considering the situation...Since realistically, it would affect the Mongols just as bad, if not worse at this stage. Not just us crusading Christians. Or as I suspect, one of the Mongols helped write that, they would have had advance warning to be do doing smething else.

So is this going to happen every year then?

BLEH. 2 land mil, and morale/tech loss out of the damn sky like that is obscene considering the circumstances.

I'm realy sorry m8, but this event runs every winter in this game in certain areas. As a new player you might not have seen one before or not noticed it in general chat in the assylum.

However. Your not knowing, combined with the fact that I don't think it's mentioned in the rules AND you are in and of the local state/province involved. I will make this concetion just this once to reduce the L/M hit to 1.

The Mongols were not on the feild of battle this season but in cities i assume this round (Confirm Neil ?) Therefore no roll applies. We were out in the cold taking the battle to them.

(Bzali.- Please change the L/M loss for Lithuania to 1. Thanks)

BUT...... you may not also be aware that such Posts are expected to be a PM, to the MODs. It is generaly frowned on to complain or accuse etc. in the threads.

...all go to the Archbishop of Mainz. I would like to discourage this from happening too often in the future though, as it makes it possible to essentialy buy a state. ;)
And JG, if I may, Mainz should probably be a seperate state compared to Pfalz, although controled by the same player due to the closeness of their relations with eachother. (As long as he can handle two seperate characters that is. ;) )
And as soon as the Archbishop of Mainz dies or the family changes, that's it -- it's over. Archbishops are appointed by Rome and are obviousaly not hereditary. (How could they be? :D )

Fear not Schlieff. :) I'm just trying to ascertain what Bagric is trying to say, in the nat stats. My post has little relevance to what is actually permissable.
