Hmm, one way I can think of is to loan enough money to him to pay off his debts, with the promise that you'll be a much more 'relaxed' creditor than, say, the Golden Horde or Sibir... ;)

Or, you could run a gift event, perhaps. In the case of that, I'd ask Ladislav to throw in a potential spanner-in-the-works like the offchance of a partial or total bandit raid. Or maybe the chance of a morale hit on the Mamelukes when the populace sees their hard-earned loot disappearing over the borders with no promise of seeing it return. Just a enough to show the other players that using gifts isn't a way to get extra for free. ;)

Well things are sure happening in the Kingdom of England. For one Scotland has been given her freedom.

Scotland will have the four provinces of Strathclyde, which will hold its capital of Edinburgh, The Grampians, Lothian, and the Highlands. These four provinces will once more form into the Kingdom of Scotland. However Scotland will remain an English vassal.

As well the Duchy of Normandie, which will consist of Normandy, Caux, and Picardie. The capital of this newly formed English vassal will be in the province of Normandie herself.

Thus Scotland and Normandie are now nations once more and English vassles.

As well Elionor is no longer the HOS of England and I hand her charachter over to PrinceBUB and the Kingdom of Castile-Leon. The HOS of England is now Henry VI in his own right.

Finally I would like to place the Kingdom of England as NPC.

Many thanks,
KW

A NOTE ON ENGLAND GOING NPC

You're thinking of applying for it, aren't you? Admit it, you like those stats... you could do a lot with a realm like that.

But wait, is that why you're applying? In that case, forget it.

Unless you're a very skilled player with a strong interest in English history, I won't be accepting your app. It's the strongest nation in the game, several careful owners, so experienced hands only need apply.

Serious changes indeed. Here's how things look in and around England, folks. Keep an eye out for those freshly-formed English vassals!

Sad though it is to say, it looks like Arnou won't be coming back.

I've set Serbia NPC; put them into a state of white peace; and taken them off the list of jihad targets.

If this has upset anyone's plans, please contact me via PM about it.

Due to Arnou's service to the game as former Treaties Manager, this is a bootless boot.

:D ;)

OK dude, no probs there.

Just to fill you in on Aragon's current situash: I've preserved its stats as Txini left it, which means Gelre still owes Aragon 3 econ, and you've only the 1 econ in the pot.

It's been a while since I put the full inscrips drill up on the forum, so I'll do so now for everyone's benefit, even though you must know the drill like the back of your hand. ;)

Please once again visit the National Statistics thread and make a post informing our resident Nat Stats man me what your new realm is and also what name you have chosen for it's head of state. Now you're ready to post your stupendous court thread!

We advise that you do not use instant messaging programs like MSN, ICQ and AIM to discuss deals and alliances for the purposes of the game. Doing so generally leads to animosity, mistrust and a lowering of role-playing standards. Unless an RPG Steward is trying to contact you in order to help you understand the game better, it would be better for all concerned if you politely avoid talking about your role in the RPG with other, active players. The forum’s message-posting and private messaging (PM) systems should be all you’ll ever need to play the game.

JG :)

Odd - this one's filename and path are exactly the same as the old image url, except the last 3 letters of the filename before the suffix are in capitals in the new one.

Keep an eye out for case-sensitivity in your image-links, folks. I think I'll be able to fix all those broken images in teh stats, now.

Few changes caused by the election of the new Pope.

Cologne should go to NPC, and the HoS should be made Archbishop Karl von Baier.

The Patrimony of Peter's player is now "Innocent", and the Head of State "Innocent VIII"

Eh, I wouldn't mind taking on the task of playing England. I tend to think I'm skilled enough, I've done well in 1515 and good in a limited role of Latvia. Despite the fact that you're knights never recognized that I DIDN'T secularize the Order...argh.

Anyway, I'm good in English history, one of my more favorite things to study, actually. Not this period so much as later periods, but still great.

And, time is not something you ought to worry much about. I'll have plenty of time for both England here and Poland in 1515, and also my jobs in 1515. Really, that part will not be much trouble, actually, no trouble. Except for the fact that we have to go an extra hour each day at school cuz of missed snow days. :(, stupid. But still, I'll have plenty of time for all of this.

Though, should I not be deemed acceptable...I could go back up to NPC land...that being the Kingdom of Latvia. Though, you really ought to direct a few players my way....it's lonely. They only have Longinus to play with...and...well, I don't look forward to playing with Long that much.

AP,

I'm sorry, but I know first hand just how much moderator duties can seem to take up barely a few minutes one week then almost all the spare time God sends the next. I really can't take the risk of handing over one of our biggies to you. Plus I've been PMed by someone who I know from experience will do a top rate job on England, so until I see an app from him, everyone gets measured by that yardstick. (It hasn't been reserved, as such).

If The TO/Latvia's too far out there in the east, how about another role?

JG :)

Eh, just re-open my Latvian court then.

OK, bear in mind that it will fall to the bottom of the forum since it hasn't had a post in it for a very long time.

Please once again visit the National Statistics thread and make a post informing our resident Nat Stats man BzAli what your realm is and also what name you have chosen for it's head of state.

This next bit is for newcomers, really, but nevertheless:
