I have gone through the Crucible of Verizon, and have emerged only somewhat singed.
Apparently, they decided that I wanted my DSL cancelled. So they did. For no apparent reason. It took two hours of tech support until someone noticed that my account had simply been turned off. <sigh> So I badgered them into giving me a month of free dialup while they reconnect my DSL (by the end of next week, supposedly).
This means that Txini can relax, as I can take back over from Neil.
