My beloved wife,

I have been in seclusion during.....a protracted ailment, of sorts. I stood at the brink of death for a long while, and from my vantage point saw many magnificent and horrific sights of the life which is to follow this one. I have spent much time pondering what I saw as I rested in the cold arms of near-death.

I embark from my holdings to visit the Court of my brother John, who's fair and equitable rule of England is the envy of the Continent. My heart aches at the distance which has seperated us, for there were many nights when the remembrance of your trancendant beauty were all that kept me from falling into the Abyss.

I often find myself thinking of the Duchy of Normandie in the way a man thinks of a garden, which is home to a beautiful rose. It is a lucky people who are so favored as to be able to bask in its radiance.

I hope to see you at the Court of my Brother, or perhaps afterwards. It has been far to long.

Letters are sent all over Europe with the message


The Crown of France do not look kindly on the creation of the duchy, we see the acts as not only a break of the treaty of Arras but as an extremely aggressive move against the Kingdom of France. Furthermore they are meddling in French security by trying to stir up a civil war between Henri and his majesty Charles VII. And due to the actions of the king of England, his continuous breaking of the treaty of Arras, mainly from stupidity the treaty of Arras is hereby declared invalid.

Secondly the worst enemy of the Crown of France is situated as regent of Normandie her actions nearly led to a huge war in Western Europe, her actions have been to build up aggression against the Kingdom of France, gladly enough her allies where not so united at that time, so a large war did not appear. But fact remains she has always worked for the demise of the French kingdom. And her new role as regent-vassal of Normandie can't be accepted, as it will lead to the downfall of the Crown of France and the Catholic faith in Western Europe. If France falls, the Catholic faith falls. What nation was it that stopped the heretical armies when they had already seized the Iberia? It was the crown of France.

Giovanna supported a maniac King of Jerusalem, but the suddenly when he was done with his plan of a "United Church" she betrayed him, even though she had secretly supported him before. Maybe she has a conscience, but I doubt it. Maby formally Giovannas sister rules, but we all know Giovanna is the one that rules.

Thirdly the so called Federation, created by England brought nothing more then chaos to Europe. It strenghtened the power of the sick and perverted house of Avegnin. The Federation undermined the god given powers granted to the most Holy Roman Empire, and it's august sovreign, the Archduke of Austria. Your Federation threatens the most holy roman Empire, and the safeguarding of France and the empire is most important.
For thees acts and many more the crown of France has reached it's decision.

And therefore, the Crown of France hereby declares that a state of war exists between the Kingdom of France and the Duchy of Normandie and England, as he is leader of the obscene and evil federation, a state of war exists between England and France as well.

We call upon our vassals, and allies to send aid immediately as surely the king of England will support his own little favourite Giovanna.

Friends from all over Europe, it is time to stop the madman whom rules England and the mad family of Angevin, it is now or never. Support our cause or wait for the English Kingdom and its friends conquer the known world.

Weaving their way through a jubilant Norman army they go to the command tent at it's centre. He alone dismounts and presents hims self to the Gaurd.

As the Lieutenant General of England stepped into the tent he veiwed the Norman comander with distaste.
