But, by performing piracy, this hurts Genovese trade, and eventually, the merchants of Genoa may take matters in their own hands, and they can raise quite a force that may very well threaten your lands and your trade. As for a non-aggression pact, as long as you end the piracy and steer clear from aggression towards our christian neighbors, you have no fear of a Genovese navy ever near your beaches, or an army near your cities. Let us bring peace back to the Mediterranean."
