Does this code mean that for this event to trigger: Aragon must be a vassal of Spain.

So..if...Aragon is not a Spanish vassal in 1516, the event won't even happen?

Yes, that's exactly what it means. Unfortunately, Spain has this habit of trying to diploannex on the 10 year anniversary, so they either form 'before' the event (which is fine!), or the vassalization breaks and they never get Aragon at all... I see this in at LEAST half the 1.05 games.

and...while I agree that is unhistorical...and...would ordinarilly aggravate me....I would be quite happy with it in our current PBEM AAR MP game. I am playing Tunisia and own Gibraltar. My human ally Algiers and I are trying to dogpile Castile.:)

Thanks for the information.:)
