Appointed Women Rulers Not Marrying?

Has anyone else noticed that women rulers (whether duke or countess) don't want to marry ever? I've been watching for a while now and I've got 4-5 women rulers that are single but have yet to marry after decades. When I try to see if I can marry someone from my family to one of them they don't appear in the list of possible mates in the offer marriage section (yet they do show up in the ledger as possible brides).

As far as I remember female rulers have never been married (unless they did so before they got their title) in CK.

The fact that you can't marry off sons or courtiers to a female ruler is probably to keep you from taking advantage of it and easily gaining land a generation or two down the line.

Female rulers do not arrange their own marriages. You can propose a non-ruler from your dynasty as their husband, but they're very unlikely to accept.

its possible. if you have high prestige (say 2000 plus) and offer up a young man full of spunk they have a greater chance of marrying.
