Please add a way (perhaps via a modifier key, like shift or ctrl) to allow us to apply single points of armor at a time so that we use can up those left over fractions of tonnage. Alternatively, or additionally, round out the armor weight to exactly 0.01 tons per point.

Customizing armor on mechs is currently a lesson in frustration. With the weird tonnage per point it is very common to end up with a small fraction of available tonnage on mechs when customizing their load-out. This is annoying because when using that mech there's a popup before dropping about its performance. And the 'Max Armor' button can apply single points, making it challenging to adjust the armor after that because you'll have different amounts of available tonnage depending what you remove.
