Struck me too, isnt the usual 80-20 division into 80% slackers and 20% hard workers? Seems paradox has hit a grand goldmine in motivating people, far better than what money gets amongst the Fortune500

You also beta-tested Ultima Online?Zwiback said:In the big betas I did (Ultima Online for example) you would be luck to have "only" 90%. But on the other side, open betas tend to be seen as a kind of "freeware" game. I am sure a lot of people really believe they get a free game here and are actually shocked when it turns out that a beta is real work...

Ah, I tested that one as well. Got sent an alpha copy due to my connection to the Crossroads of Britannia site (or, rather, the sister site for the unfortunately scrapped UO2). Almost ended up on the official tester team, but then EA decided to scrap the volunteer programs...Zwiback said:It was one of the expansions, 3rd Dawn it was. Heck, we didnt even have an affortable internet connection here when the original UO was release.
These were the times, played that thing four years![]()

Still i would love to play with the numbers, and figure out combinations.. so if anyone feels like sending me data on the buildings, goverments and such ill be happy to do some brainstorming on those alone![]()

Able to assist with the various database files without making errors that are likely to incur the wrath of the public. Having a university-level history couse on that region under your belt would be good....basically you'd need good competance of major things/issues in that egion during the full EU3 era, and have access to resources to research various things in depth. Spending an hour on the internet in Wiki reading up on it would not suffice.Registered said:Define high level.
Right, count me as climbing to high level then, still in university after all.MrT said:Able to assist with the various database files without making errors that are likely to incur the wrath of the public. Might be fine if you're already leaning towards that region in your specialization (and could end up being highly valuable for your university studies tooRegistered said:Right, count me as climbing to high level then, still in university after all.
