Yeah I saw the reference sheet download right after I posted Still would have liked a physical sheet, but what can you do...
I have manpower enough to recruit regular divisions. I guess that where I should recruit reserve divisions is where I choose between regular, colonial and native divisions, but the reserves button is never there. I had a manpower of 330 or something as Prussia, but could still not recruit reserves.
The way I do it instead is just recruit regular troops and let them wait in the deploy menu. It dosen't seem to cost anything?

I think it does. Otherwise it would be a bad exploit to let new units just wait in the reserve pool until they are needed, thereby saving the cost of their upkeep.
Well, I checked my maintenance before buying the troop and before the troop was finished and after I deployed it, and maintenance only went up after I deployed it, so now I have like 50 divisions in my deploy line ( free of charge) which I can use when I like. It's nice but unrealistic.
Another thing I think is a bit annoying is that it is not possible to change game speed in multiplayer games. Oh how welcome that feature was in EU2, and now it's gone in my next favourite Paradox game. Why, oh why?
