I posted this in the HOI IV forums, but realized it's actually much more a Clausewitz thing, I want to hear the thoughts of the EUIV community on this topic. Original thread (modified for EUIV) as follows:
This is just a personal wish, and I do not want to add pressure to do this. But I would like the developers to keep this in mind as we are going forward, perhaps when Clausewitz evolves again.
Essentially what I wish for is this:
We already have the ledger, statistics are displayed there, add an API hook that allows us to read this with our own custom program while the game is running. Since I always play in borderless mode, I can have my second monitor display an up-to-date spreadsheet/graph/chart of my own country's (or any other selected, visible-to-player) stats.
For example with this, I can see major statistics, development levels, rebels, religion, armies all on the second screen.
While I know that this may not be something ever implemented, ... had to get it out there. =D
