Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Veil of Tranquility has colony-wide effects of: +8 Happiness, -20% Research. Once you've reached 0 Research (5 Veils for -100%) every other Veil will instead alternate +20% then -20%. My colony started with 1 natural Veil (the rest were spawned with Celestian's Ward of Righteousness).

At 5 veils my research was +10 (Research Station) and -10 (Veil) for +0 per turn.

At 6 veils: +10 (Station) +2 (Veil) -10 (Veil) for +2 per turn.
At 7 veils: +10 (Station) +2 (Veil) -12 (Veil) for +0 per turn.
At 8 veils: +10 (Station) +4 (Veil) -12 (Veil) for +2 per turn
At 9 veils: +10 (Station) +4 (Veil) -14 (Veil) for +0 per turn.

And so on. I went up to 11 total.
The Happiness values stacked normally.

Not a game breaking bug but it does allow for an absurd amount of happiness in a colony in exchange for 80-100% of its research and a looot of operation points. I'd suspect its a part of some safeguard to prevent the Veils from reaching negative research per turn.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Spawn 6 Veils of Tranquility inside one colony. The 6th will increase your research by 20% instead of reducing it by 20% (or more likely, intended to remain at -100% for 0 research).

Hey Melikat, thanks for the report. That is a great catch, I assume this is not only going to be the case for Veils but likely other Hazards with Resource Impacts as well. I've passed the information on and well get on a fix fast.
