After I launch the game from the Xbox Game Pass app on my PC, I go to click the Continue button to accept the EULA but I find that I am unable to click the button at all. I try to multiple times but nothing happens.

Hey Crimsonending, thank you for reaching out. Are you running a NVidea Graphics Card, in the past we had an issue were due to a update there was a mismatch in resolution which would cause players to be unable to select options/buttons. If so, I'd like you to give this a shot:

• Try setting the game resolution correctly through the nVidea Settings app. Otherwise you can manually set the correct resolution as follows: go to \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Age of Wonders Planetfall\Config and open the settings.cfg file. In there you can change Video.WindowResolutionHeight & Video.WindowResolutionWidth to what they should be.

Yes, I have an NVidia graphics card. I'm not sure where to go to change the resolution and it won't let me edit the settings file in the game folder. I open it and it's blank.

Hmm so the Settings file doesn't even get populated so I don't think it would be the same issue. Non the less you should have a NVidea Control Panel program which should let you pick games and set custom settings. In the meantime I'm going to investigate why you wouldn't be able to accept the EULA.

When you click the button does it give any feedback, like light up or look like it's pressed?

Yes, the Continue button lights up when I mouse over/click on it but doesn't respond when I click on it at all. I'll post pictures of that with this post to show you what I'm talking about.

Hey crimsonending,

I believe we previously assumed this to be the in-game EULA; however this is the launcher EULA. I have relayed the issue and hopefully we can find out what is going wrong here. Have you tried re-installing the game before? It might be worth a try. Meanwhile we are intended to have the newer launcher version in the next MSstore release which should be this week; that might also fix the issue.

EDIT: It was just suggested to me that it could also be related to Windows Ransomware Protection. Do you have that enabled by chance?

No. I do not have Windows Ransomware Protection enabled. I haven't tried to uninstall/reinstall the game yet. I'll give that a shot and see what happens.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still won't let me click the "Continue" button.

Unfortunate.. I might have a weird work around. Can you keep tapping the tab key? It should start scrolling the EULA after a certain number of presses. Keep tapping the tab key until it scrolled to the bottom of the EULA, then press tab ONE more time. It should put the selection on the Continue button (although there is no visual feedback). Pressing Enter then should allow you to accept it. If that does not work I might have one more way... also we continue to look into it.
