One line summary of your issue
[Steam] Aborting prospect action resets Prospector movement to full.
What platform are you running the game on?
Steam
What operating system do you use?
Windows 10
Which version of the game are you running?
1.005
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Prospecting any sector (that I have tried) and then aborting the prospect operation resets the prospector to full movement.
In one case attempted, I could use this to chain move prospectors between sectors on one turn until I found a sector which could not be prospected or was too far away to reach the center of.
Expected behavior would be for aborting to restore it to the movement it had when it began the operation.
Sidenote - it may be worth checking if Earth Crushers have this behavior too (and I think amazon has some units with similar mechanics?)
Have you tried verifying your files?
No
Steps to reproduce the issue
Move a dvar prospector to the center of a sector which has not already been prospected
Begin prospecting that sector
Click on the sector center until the sector info overlay pops up. Click Abort.
The prospector will now have all of its movement restored.
Sidenote - it may be worth checking if Earth Crushers have this behavior too (and I think amazon has some units with similar mechanics?)
Attach DxDiag (PC) or System Info log (Mac)
Attach screenshot / video
