Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Now, it could be that with the tutorial you cannot change game resolutions. However, nowhere have I been able to locate this. Please advise. I am running AOW Planetfall on an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Formula motherboard, a Ryzen 9 5900X Processor, a Nvidia RTX 3060 and 32 gig G SKill Ripjaws ram. Game is running on a fairly good m.2 SSD, monitor is an ASUS 27" ProArt. I really doubt that my specs are causing the issue (if so, let me have your thoughts). Game is running through GOG.

Game appears to run fine, no issues other that I do not believe I can increase the resolution to match my monitor (2560 x 1440). I have as well tried to decrease the resolution just to see if it is actually set at 2560 x 1440. No change. I have confirmed outside of the game that I can indeed change my resolution. I have as well checked it through Nvidia software, Aida64 and other means. All seems well. I have also double checked \documents\paradox interactive\age of wonders planetfall\config and it is listed correctly at 2560 x 1440. Geforce driver is the latest at 531.68.

No expansions installed. Running base game.

Received new Crucial M.2 1 TB SSD today and installed game to it after removing it from original drive. No change.

After verifying GoG downloaded 6.8 gig update but game version did not change.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Open the game, Load saved game. Go to options > video. Change the game to any resolution. Go back to game. No resolution change. Same if changing to any resolution then exiting game and restarting. No change in resolution. See above for more details.

Please go to the GoG /Age of Wonders Planetfall/ folder and run AowPF_debug.exe and try changing the resolution, then exit it.

Then go to C:/users/<UserName>/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Age of Wonders Planetfall/logs/ and attach here the latest game log file.

From C:/users/<UserName>/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Age of Wonders Planetfall/Config/ please attach here settings.cfg

I see no reason for this in those files, the debug file shows your desktop 2560 x 1440 (32 bit) (75Hz) is an acceptable resolution in the game for monitor 0.

It does show on that monitor, is that right? Because the other ones can't get to that resolution.

What actual resolution do you get, as a matter of interest?

And does going into borderless or windowed mode change anything?

I am confused as well man. For some reason I decided to play with my resolution and noticed that no matter what I did nothing changed. The resolution I am playing at (I am guessing 2560 x 1440 as that is what it is set at) is fine and looks good. No issues there. I am just the curious type. I had also tried borderless and windowed mode with no changes. Either way I appreciate you looking into this for me. I cant figure it out either.

I'm now even more confused. I thought your problem was you couldn't get to your desktop resolution 2560 x 1440 ?

Dont worry about it man. Ive been PC gaming since the 90's. Old stuff. Im an old dude. For some reason I got in the habit early of double checking resolution by dropping it down a bit and then back up to make sure my PC was handling the game correctly. Like I said, it looks good. Its just interesting that even when I drop the resolution down a few steps nothing seems to change. Ive been building gaming PCs for a very long time so you never know when the builder (me) screwed something up. Appreciate your help and persistence.
