[PC/Steam] Mora Secundis scenario crashes when defeating final opponent

Mora Secundis scenario. This should be the final battle -- it was the last enemy needed to secure victory in the scenario. They'd already lost their capital and were attacking one of my bases with their leader. My defense was successful, and as soon as the list unit died, this error appeared instead of returning to the worldview. This has happened 3 times in a row with different specific battle sequences leading to a victory.
Game version: v1.006.37190 (files successfully validated via Steam)
OS: Windows 10 Pro Version 1803, OS build 17134.829, 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.20 GHz
RAM: 64 GB
Graphics: GeForce GTX 1080, driver version 430.39; game settings set to default optimal per GeForce Experience
Monitor resolution: 3840x2160

Steps to reproduce the issue
The attached savefile is at the final step in the battle. Drop a Shredder Bomb (from the Operations Menu) on the last remaining enemy unit (the leader) to replicate. The camera zooms on the defeated unit, the battle is won, and the game crashes returning to the worldview.
This has happened 3 times in 3 distinct battles and can be repeated here with some other way of killing the final unit; this is just the easiest.
