Online Simultaneous Players Experience Turn Drop
What platform are you running the game on?
Steam
What operating system do you use?
PC
Which version of the game are you running?
1.006
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
We have had multiple players report a bug where they see the enemies turn happening ... and then they see a prolonged period of inactivity, and then -- bam, *their* turn is over and their enemy gets to go again. They never have any opportunity to take their turn at all -- don't see any notification, can't move any units, etc. For all the other players in the game, it looks like the player in question is just letting his turn timer run out doing nothing. But from his point of view, the *other* player has his turn still going on and is doing nothing. This seems to be associated with some sort of server desync, as supposedly it is fixed by having everyone leave the game and rejoin. There should be some sort of auto desync happening if that's what the problem, is, though -- and it's not happening.
I've asked the specific users experiencing the bug to report it here, but to get the ball rolling I'm posting this here and now as it's potentially game breaking, causing major battles to be thrown.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Steps to reproduce the issue
Start a simultaneous multiplayer game. Get users from multiple regions/internet quality playing together so that there is data packet loss causing desync. Play a long combat. One player may experience these sorts of issues and there is no automatic notification or automatic resync.
