I have the launcher version (v.2020.7-SE) but I can't access to the main menu so...

What expansions do you have installed?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I launch the game, the loading ends and then a screen with "press a button to continue" appears... and then I try to press any key, even on a controller, and nothing happens... But the screen is not frozen, so I don't know what's the issue ?

Hey Figur8, thanks for reaching out. Normally this is where the Microsoft Store Edition starts synching your cloud saves with the local version. How long does this screen stay up for? Do you play the game in Offline Mode? Is your AV Software possible blocking the connection? Do you have other Store games that do/don't work?

DxDiag is just a simple program that gives a basic breakdown of your system. If you follow this link you'll see how to run it, but it isn't needed for your issue.

Hi Jordi ! Thank you for your quick response.

It just stays up, tbh, and after a while I have to close it cause nothing is working.
The launcher says that they're unable to connect to internet, so I guess I'm by default in offline mode.
I don't know how to check if my AV Software is blocking the connexion, but I had no problems until now with cloud saves or whatsoever.

And thank you for DxDiag !

EDIT.
I checked with a friend, and Planetfall is authorized by my AV Software - and I also tried to launch it with administrator's rights (sorry for my english, I'm french xD) and nothing has changed.

The launcher is not really indicative of anything so we can ignore that it can't connect. Let's see if we can kick start this:
  • Navigate to %localappdata%\Packages\ParadoxInteractive.AgeofWondersPlanetfall-Microsof_zfnrdv2de78ny\SystemAppData\wgs
  • Backup the numbered folder to a different location
  • Remove the numbered folder from the wgs folder
This basically removes any local version of cloud saves you might have. Now try to launch the game again and see if the 'Synching data' window appears.

Ah yea, you might not have been able to see the Packages folder as it's hidden by Windows. Happy to hear it's working again, did you do anything or are we going with a Xbox Live Services issue?

I did absolutely nothing, so I guess we're going with a Xbox Live Services issue ... ?
Unless... I had to reboot my computer cause a storm is here.
And I switched to my phone's 4G because of it.

So maybe... ?
