Good Morning

I have noted twice now that in my current sandbox game, I have completed "Empire Tasks" and given the pop up to say I have received the said reward, only not to have the reward credited

The first occasion was the Emissary event. I put it down at the time that I had just missed it as I had gone on for a period of time before I noticed that I had not increased the amount of Influence I had expected to have.

But the second time, I was paying particular attention to the total. This was for the economist reward (200 energy). I noted very carefully that I only received my colony's anticipated 69+ value, not the additional 200 as the screen shot indicated. I have a total of 114 energy which if received reward should be 314 total

I have played a number of games in my 120h so far on this game
In the others I had received the reward. And I had watched the total change when I got a reward

I also searched to see if this had been reported before. I could not see anything that matched

Hey Neil Andrews, thanks for the report. Could you tell me whether you where the first player to achieve the Economist (as Pioneer) or whether another Player had already complete the Empire task on a earlier turn? The easiest way to check this is on the empire task itself, usually it shows you players that achieved it and on what turn. If that isn't the case could you send us over one of your saves?

Just checked
It does NOT STATE that Anyone has completed the task
Their are other ones that list me as the first to do so
and their are yet others that state that one of the AI players has.

But it DOES state that all three conditions have been met
and I received the pop up that stated that I was the first to achieve the task. But The notification had only a single button at the bottom "Cancel" (which of course closed the pop up
I "Seem" to remember that it had a "Claim Reward" button

I am trying to replicate the circumstances myself to see if it was just a bugged save or the like
So i will let you how that goes

As for the saved game - of course

It says it has the wrong extensions and won't let me complete the task

Hey Neil, I had a look at the save you provided and it appears that all the Empire Tasks you completed have been completed by other users on earlier turns. That's why you didn't receive any of the Pioneer Rewards, when you have completed a Empire Task as Pioneer it will say "You completed this task on round X as Pioneer" instead of "You completed this task on round X." I'll give you a quick overview of the Task you have completed and when the Pioneers completed them:

• Emissary; Pioneer on round 7 (You 10)
• Technologist; Pioneer on round 25 (You 28)
• Builder; Pioneer on round 10 (You 31)
• Economist; Pioneer on round 33 (You 36)

So you are generally just a few turns behind. You can see who completed these Empire Tasks and when by clicking on them in the objectives screen and then you can scroll in the description.

Firstly, Thank you very much for your'e work Jordi.
It is very much appreciated

I will admit I completely MISSED that you could scroll down that notification. And if I had seen that, I would not have annoyed you in the first place. The notification system is quite different to other AoW (in particular III). So it was my bad in the first place
And as you said, I missed out on those cause someone else got them first
I would like to say that for a 50 (something) YO gamer, The scroll bar on the right side of such notification and production and the like is in my opinion "Far too Thin". Difficult to manage in my opinion
I would add that much of the text is too small too. I am not the first to say this, and I hope their will be consideration for changing the text size soon in future updates. And slider bars too

Finally I will add that I apologise that it has taken time to respond. I am an emergency service worker, been on shift....... and flat out

So a belated thanks for pointing out I have been a dill.................. lol
