That's the SHADING layer, the DISPLACEMENT map 'displaces' each image so it looks like it's flapping to a specified pattern. You don't overlay it like the shading layer, you run a displace in photoshop by filter-distort-displace. Pick 3% for vertical and horizontal, and use the displacement map in the templates.

Well the action references the displace map only if the map is on your desktop, ie in the folder c:\windows\desktop\displace.psd

if this is impossible, you need to do the displace yourself, or you can change the action if you know how to do that.

If you recall, I expressly stated that it HAD to be on your desktop

I have it on my desktop Problem is just that my desktop isn't located in that directory... Is it looking for the file on the desktop, or it is looking in that very directory you wrote?

Ok Korath, new _shields_, and only shields (when not expecially told so):

Gran Colombia:

A remake of the Kongo shield (same pattern).

A new British one. The 'X' stripes aren't centered as they should be. Not a big deal, but for me it looks... weird.

Hawaii:

Hannover (the royal standard, based on the CoA):

Khiva (the current one lacks the star and is too ):

Brunei (should be plain yellow, posted this to show the shade):

Flag and shield for Yemen:

We also need flags & shields for Punjab, Sind, Bilaspur, Berar and Bastar, which I haven't a clue about how they look.

About the flag Ecuador. We can either use the flag of 1845-1860:

...or the yellow-blue-red flag.

Colombia and Venezuela already uses very similar flags (yellow-blue-red) so that is an argument for the first flag, buton the other hand the yellow-blue-red one is more "Ecuadorian" and was used longer.

What do you say?

Finally, a shield for Quebec. I suggest putting the above stars closer to each other. It'll look strange otherwise

I suggest leaving Ecuador with its old shield... It is more accurate. The fact that it might be confusing is to be ignored

The shield doesn't matter, it's the CoA and that didn't change AFAIK. It was the flag that did
