Oh... I assumed that couldn't be the Niger because that is way too north for anything! If thats what you are basing your arguement on, you should drop it, because West Africa would be totally wierd if we based it around that river. As a general rule, never base anything around 'Paradox's rivers'.
Actually, though, I sort of like that setup getting rid of Segu and moving Niani there, so the two goldfields aren't right next to one another.

I'm a little confused now, cause twoflower base maps and geography on rivers, while you not. I thought eep had a politics about geographic locations and rivers.
Well, while I haven't heard a universal standard on it, I can tell you that I rarely conform to rivers unless they make sense.
I mean, if you take Paradox's Niger river, its two separate pieces. The bit near Gao and then that bit that we've been talking about. The Niger River is continuous and isn't in pieces. You can barely see it as well, and so I for one, ignore it. Where its at, its sort of irrelevant.
On Geography, placing Niani West of Jenne without the South component, isn't any better than having it South of Jenne without the West component.

Not to make useless polemics, but what i knew about niger is that in the central part the river became a swamp area that hardly can be definied a river. Thats the reason i guess cause it was splitted in 2 parts, and that's the reason cause i had been refer to it.
I made a lot of changings, that tried works, but i'm not able to do all the work alone. Till i don't find someone really available to help i think this scenario will be finished in some (more) time.
