AoD and Darkest Hour worth the buy?

Hope this forum section works as a place to post this.

Are the two titles worth the buy if I own Hearts of Iron II and play that? Do they add enough new content to warrant the purchase or could I find mods that achieve the same goals of either game.

I'll probably get them either way simply to support the devs but I may gift one if I feel I won't get anything completely new from the gameplay.

Thanks in advance and feel free to have this moved if it fits somewhere else better.

They are quite different from each other, but the features added are worth the bargin.

yep, espically if you get them on sale or have a netbook that can't run HOI3
