Playing as France need to keep burgundy at war for as long as possible as they have an heir and i'm trying to trigger the inheritance through waring em. However, damn call to peace any way to get around this / delay it for as long as possible?

You shouldn't get the call for peace if you haven't achieved the wargoal. So easy strategy would be just to declare a conquest war and not siege the province you declared for.
