On my i7-4790k + GTX970 + 16GB RAM I get stable 60FPS (w/VSYNC, everything maxed) while zoomed out. However once I move the camera closer to the ground and I try e.g. to follow a car, it can drop to 35-40. It started when Snowfall was introduced.
Hey, I can run GTA5 or W3 maxed out on stable 60FPS no matter what happens on the screen. And these drops in Skylines are quite a disappointment.

I7-4770K, 32Gbyte and Radeon 290x here. Before the patch from Feb. 18th performance was fine.

But after the patch the framerate will drop if you zoom in. It's a pain in some areas I don't think I get more then 15-20 fps there.
Simulation speed however is still fine.

Are you sure you guys just never noticed this zooming in/out with differenty frame rates, because thia has been happening since day one and every simulator like this.

This game does not focus on FPS, it saves it's resources for game simulation.
