Once a research is finished save the game. Then reload and check to see if the options is different?

No difference after 1 of the 3 research possibility was done when I saved the game , I went out and restarted the game .
And ..... please be carefully with your girlfriend there is still a lot of energy to spend while conquering the galaxy .

I've done it. It works sometimes.
The game seems to know and cripples your options after a few attempts.

What I already have encounter is when I want to go to my next research it sometimes give's me only 3 research possibility's instead of 4 when I come back to my game but if that has to do something with a game saved up I don't know .
