Rolling along with a great game, my ruler dies, then immediately upon my son taking power, ALL of my Council members and ALL Courtiers
lose the "Personal diplomacy" positive opinion modifier. There's nothing there.
Ruined a perfect game because I am having a hard time maintaining a positive opinion without this modifier.
Anyone seen this before?

Actually, more like, does your new heir have 4 Diplomacy?

Personal Diplomacy Formula (From the Wiki): +3 * (Personal Diplomacy - 4).

This is why some people say you should educate your heirs by Grey Eminences so they gain that education trait, because of the raw power of Personal and State diplomacy. If you insert '4' in the formula above, 3 * (4 - 4) = 3 * 0 = 0. Below 4 you go into negative diplo personal diplomacy, and every point of diplo on your character gives you +3 opinion with all courtiers (but not vassals, who follow the State Diplomacy formula).
