If so I`d like to know, whether there are informations about Kamea`s life after the Restoration.
Yeah, I picked it up last week.
Hmm, let me check...
EDIT:
@Stuckenschmidt, the sourcebook is written from a Canopian point of view, well after the Restoration had succeeded. The following excerpt is a direct pull from the Catalyst Arano-sourcebook biography for High Lady Arano,
“High Lady Arano is a pragmatist who is willing to make sacrifices, even significant ones, to secure her position and the continuation of the Coalition . Her idealism has been set aside for the moment; where necessary, she has deployed
troops to maintain public order, had dissidents arrested, and seized the holdings of minor nobles who have voiced opposition . In addition, she still personally controls and administers the Espinosa estates, held in trust by the Coalition government for Santiago’s heirs . But it is widely believed that
Kamea—an Espinosa heir herself—intends to absorb them into House Arano and unify the Coromodir system as a direct holding of the Arano family .
Still, there is reason to trust in her idealistic vision of a united, free Aurigan Reach . Under her direction, Lord Alexander Madeira and his hand-picked diplomatic corps are engaged in constant negotiation with the Concordat, the Capellan Confederation, and our own Magistracy, seeking the kinds of high-level treaties and connections that will protect her small state in the likely event of another Inner- Sphere-wide conflict.”
There are addition snippets of Post-Restoration information on Aurigan Operations against House Liao and Davion as well as an excellent Geopolitical “take” on the damage and challenges facing the Aurigan Coalition in a post-Restoration Rimward Periphery.
While it may not have as many pages as other BattleTech sourcebooks (77-pages), every single word derives from HBS BATTLETECH story and for that, it would have been a bargain at twice the price.
