I have established a few cities and I've noticed that when I build new roads, there are always a lot of schools showing up.
I also noticed that the unemployment rate of students is extremely high. Secondly, there're pretty a lot of commercial buildings that contains mass of working places but still no workers work there.
Then I try to build more roads to home more people, but I get... huge number of students and a few businessmen. unemployment rate of students raised sky high, and a lot of schools needed.

I try to observe these students, they actually stay at home in most cases, I was wondering why they didn't go to school on weekdays. Only about 20-30% of them go to school, so they won't contribute to my trans system, to say nothing of the truth that they walk to school a lot.

Come on, dev team, students are going to ruin my game. Please fix this soon, if you think it a problem.

BTW, the landmarks and metro train DLCs are great !
hope you can add airports and train stations to the game!
THX for reading.

+1 for airports which can hold workers themselves.

Based on my experience, the students aren't the problem, the number of schools on the map are the problem. On autogenerated maps, schools never get generated, accounting for high unemployment rates. Other hand-placed maps typically underestimate the number of students, and therefore place too few schools. For example, on my Taipei map, student unemployment rate can go as low as 40% by the end of the first day, because I placed a ton of schools on the map. (However, after solving the problem with the schools, my map currently faces a deficiency of high class leisure places)

And the reason for empty workplaces is same, that the map wasn't balanced. It's possible to balance everything, but it's extremely time consuming to do so!

You made the Taipei map! That's a great map!
The cause of empty workplaces and insufficient schools is generating too much students and not enough workers, I think.
