Anyone interested in Los Angeles area LAN EU2?

are there enough people who would *consider* participating in a multiplayer LAN-fest or even an occasional multiplayer EU2 LAN party if I can figure out a way to arrange this?

San Diego.... that depends on you if you are willing to drive to the LA/OC area.

As far as logistics... this is what I had in mind. A local hobby store (that specializes in games, wargaming, etc) has a small LAN of PCs set up for computer wargames. I may be able to convince them to arrange regular EU2 LAN games on weekends. They might charge a small fee per night of play (usually they ask for "donations") for the sake of being able to play in their location.

They have had this setup for months and most of the local groups play LAN games of Unreal, Quake, Starcraft, Starfleet Command, Command and Conquer etc on those machines. So I figured, why not EU2?

This of course requires that we have lots of local EU2 players willing to participate.

one location I had in mind was Brookhurst Hobbies, located in Garden Grove. They are listed in the phone book I think. But I don't have their address or phone off-hand. They are off Beach Blvd, in the GardenGrove and Anaheim border area.

According to the MapQuest I am almost 2 hours away from that place. That's a little bit too far (I am a lazy bugger)
