I am well aware of this issue. However I don't have the modding skills to extract the images at a decent quality. I was hoping that I could get the numbers from CO so I can update the wiki but haven't heard any news for a while.

The images on the wiki are quite small (smaller than I would like). Do they have to come from somewhere in particular, or would one like this be good enough?

Also "Natural Disasters" stuff. Forgot to mention that. (You probably know that though :))

I could get images of most of them, if the quality of the one above (TV station) is good enough.

I have the cost, upkeep, and noise pollution numbers entered. I don't, as of the moment, know how to obtain the Tourism, Attractiveness, and Entertainment figures.

Added the three buildings from "Pearls From the East" as well.

I don't have "Stadiums" yet, so I can't get anything on that though.

I'll start getting the pictures. Copyright-wise I assume that it is fair use for me to do that to put on the Wiki?

The images are fine as part of the PDX wikis however they should be marked as PDX's copyright. When you upload them there's a drop-down menu for copyrights. If you select the Paradox copyright then it automatically puts the tag on that file. If not I'll make sure to add them today. Thanks for the uploads.

Edit: You're using the copyright already. Excellent work.

I have all of the images up for the Unique Buildings from the two Content Creator Packs and the Pearls From the East pack.

I started out with screenshots saved through Steam, and they were JPG. The last few I took direct captures and had no JPG artifacts to deal with. I wish I had thought to do that from the start, but I think for the size of them they look okay.

First time working on a Wiki. I think I figured it out okay mostly.
Feel free to let me know if I did anything wrong/less than ideal. :)

I made a page for the "Pearls From the East" free DLC too. It's fairly brief, there is not much to it.
I noticed some bamboo in the game (in the trees tab), I wonder if they came from Pearls From the East?

I picked up "Stadiums" (on sale now), so I could do something with that too.

Oh, and the "Vertical Farm" and "Biodome" from the CCP: High-Tech Buildings were already listed in the table for Unique Buildings, but technically they are parks, so don't really belong.

There is a page existing for "Match Day", but no pictures. Can I add some?

There's some other stuff from Natural Disasters that could be added.

That's really good work. I'll need to do a few bits of maintenance to link everything together but that's just me being picky.

I haven't played the game in a while so I'll defer to your suggestions for locations on the wiki for the buildings. You are of course welcome to add pictures for match day, the same copyright rules apply for screenshots. There are a number of things that need adding for Natural Disasters so anything you wanted to add would help.

We're also missing some other icons from Snowfall. Anything as a redlink here needs an image http://www.skylineswiki.com/Special:WantedFiles .

That's really good work.
Thanks.

Not a problem.

Added:
http://www.skylineswiki.com/Stadiums:_European_Club_Pack
The pictures of the stadiums are kind of small. I'm a bit new to this, so not sure what the best way to deal with them is.
The originals were 1920x1080, and I uploaded reduced sized ones at 400x225. They appear in the gallery much smaller. You can click on them and get the page about each image, with the larger size. Wondering if that is the case should I have just uploaded the 1920x1080 ones?

I added a link to it from here:
http://www.skylineswiki.com/Downloadable_content#Cosmetic_packs
I noticed here that it is listed as "Stadiums (European Club Pack)", which makes sense, especially if down the road we get "Stadiums (Some other Club Pack)".
However, there is also "Art Deco (Content Creator Packs)" and "High-Tech Buildings (Content Creator Packs)", which seem inverted (ie should be "Content Creator Packs (Art Deco)") in comparison.

Finished this:
http://www.skylineswiki.com/Match_Day
I don't know how the Table of Contents got there, I don't see it anywhere, so I presume it is automatic if an article is big enough?
Pretty happy with it, except the "Match Mechanics" section, as I don't actually know all what that entails. The sentence about crime ("Potentially increased crime.") leaves a bit to be desired, but it is kind of presumed, due to the "Match Security" policy.

Does it need Snowfall and After Dark in the "See Also" section? It's already tagged "DLC". I added "Stadiums" to it. If SF and AD are keepers, then Natural Disasters should be added.

http://www.skylineswiki.com/Service_buildings
Added images and data for: Wave power plant, Medical Laboratory, Cryopreservatory, Faculty and Intelligence Agency. I marked them as available from the start, because I think maybe they are, but I am not certain. I was already past 90k pop in my current city when I got CCP-HTB.

We're also missing some other icons from Snowfall. Anything as a redlink here needs an image http://www.skylineswiki.com/Special:WantedFiles .

I looked into the heating/road maintenance icons, but I don't have a suitable source for them to make them on the white background (they are all on a dark background, and it is hard to get rid of the dark edges at such a small scale, and I am no expert!). I did knock off the CCP buildings on the list though. I'll have to start a winter city to do the Snowfall stuff.

http://www.skylineswiki.com/Achievements
Added 14 achievements from "Mass Transit". Images (rounder corners too!) and names. I don't know the descritions/details yet.

Is there a more appropriate place for this conversation?

This is all great work. I'll quickly answer the questions in order now.

The galleries auto shrink the files so upload whichever size is easiest for you.

We take the names from the Steam pages, if we've got any wrong then you should be able to move the page to the correct name. If you're not confident doing this let me know and I'll do it.

The "See also" section is up to the editor. I think with the number of DLCs/content packs it might be worth my time to make a navbox so we don't end up with a list longer than the article.

Icons aren't a huge issue, I've been bugging PDX/CO for a while to try to get the images sent to me. Since that is still on their 'to do' list we will have to wait.

Thanks for the achievements, when the game launches we should get the descriptions. A few sites might scrape steam to get the info early but we don't need to be that fast.

If you wanted to have this conversation elsewhere you can use the pinned wiki thread or you can message me on my talk page on the Skylines wiki.

Here is okay with me if it is fine with you.

I think with the number of DLCs/content packs it might be worth my time to make a navbox so we don't end up with a list longer than the article.

I've seen it, and I think that is much better, both visually, and easier to keep all up to date.

The link for "Stadiums" does not go to the page I made for it:
http://www.skylineswiki.com/Stadiums:_European_Club_Pack

One or the other needs to be changed. If they ever do more stadiums, it is probably best to keep the "Stadiums:_European_Club_Pack" page name to be able to easily differentiate. Alternatively, any future Stadiums content could go on the same page with subsections for each pack? I'll let you make that call.

I added the Navbox to the "Stadiums:_European_Club_Pack" page and the "Match_Day" page.

Navbox doesn't have "Match Day" in it.

This needs tweaking. Current in-game structure is:

Parks & Plazas | Parks
Parks & Plazas | Plazas
Parks & Plazas | Other Parks
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure
Parks & Plazas | Modder Packs

So all items are:

Parks & Plazas | Parks | Small Park
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Small Playground
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Park With Trees
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Large Playground
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Dog Park
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Japanese Garden
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Botanical Garden
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Carousel Park
Parks & Plazas | Parks | Bouncy Castle Park
Parks & Plazas | Plazas | Plaza with Trees
Parks & Plazas | Plazas | Plaza with Picnic Tables
Parks & Plazas | Plazas | Paradox Plaza
Parks & Plazas | Other Parks | Basketball Court
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Fishing Pier
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Fishing Tours
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Jet Ski Rental
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Marina
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Restaurant Pier
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Beach Volleyball Court
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Riding Stable
Parks & Plazas | Tourism & Leisure | Skatepark
Parks & Plazas | Modder Packs | Biodome
Parks & Plazas | Modder Packs | Vertical Farm

There are a few other items for European theme and Winter themes, I'll have to load up a map and look at some point.

Wondering if it should be combined into one table with these categories, or just add more sections, and rename the top one "Parks", as they are all in "Parks & Plazas".
I'm leaning towards additional sections (ie "Other Parks", "Modder Packs"). The Unique Buildings table is quite long, and I could see this one being very long as well. I think that sort of answers my question, but would like some feedback.

And again trying to compress my responses a bit.

The navbox has been updated, was a couple of mistakes on my part. Don't worry about making changes to the template, its almost impossible to completely break the wiki.

The front page link for unique buildings has been added. We'll also add Mass Transit when it releases.

For the parks and plazas I think we may have to split off landscaping to a new page. Beyond that the suggested split into the new sections is a good idea. I agree Unique buildings is getting a bit long as a table so that may also get split in time. This will make the specific buildings easier to search for too.

The "decoration" re-organization mentioned above was implemented in Patch 1.4.0-f3. (2016-03-22)

* Decoration service renamed to Parks&Plazas
* Parks - The Standard parks
* Plazas - The Plazas style parks
* Others parks - The parks which don't belong in the 2 categories above
* Tourism & Leisure - After Dark DLC only, contains all the park assets from After Dark
* Winter Parks - Snowfall DLC only, contains all the park assets from Snowfall and only shows if you are in a Winter map

So it does need a re-working. I'd suggest a "Parks and Plazas" page, and move all of those to that page, with a separate table for each.

Nice work on the DLCs. The rework will take a bit of time so may happen later.

Thanks.

I made a page for the Relaxation Station and also Deluxe Upgrade Pack. So that is all of those (everything in the DLC navbox has at least a rudimentary page).

I could probably attempt the reworking. Probably start a new page for "Parks and Plazas" first, and get it looking decent before taking them out of the "Decoration" page (which I guess will get renamed too. Bed time now though.
