my buddy and i keep trying to play but when i set the speed to fast he goes out of sync by a few days and in hoi2 when i would push pause he would keep going to make up the lost time but now we both pause for some reason....anyone have any ideas or tricks on how to re sync besides saving and exiting??

generally if you fall out of synch for hrs you can get back with setting the game to slow speed. If you get out of synch for days the only effective way is to save and exit. Putting the game to slow speed may get you back, but it usually takes so long that its quicker to just rehost.

Hmm, in my experience leaving it paused will bring the sync back with little problem---even if you're weeks behind. Its happened to a friend of mine before, and after he catches back up to my time I just run it at a speed just one level under and it works fine.

Oh, and hes on dial-up :p

true but at times it takes so long especially if you have a couple of people its just better to reload.
