Anyone else watching BattleTech climb the Steam Top Sellers list?

Not to rain into your parade but those are only regional top sellers.
The real interesting list is behind the Global Top Sellers button.
the streamer that just did a 3-hour long demo of the start of the game and a couple missions and such directed people to buy it on GoG since he gets a cut of that if they use his link. He seemed to have a huge following.
The chat seemed to dislike Steam for not being DRM free, too, so he may just know his audience.
Huh, I'd thought Cohh would have bumped it up the Steam Best Seller list more than it is now, but if he gets his own cut from GoG sells that might explain it. He's one of the biggest streamers on Twitch.
Cohh thanked GoG for the early release key, not HBS. I guess he might have thanked HBS when I was not looking.

On the front page of GoG Galaxy client, when you tab over the strategy games it's one of 4. Either someone is doing awesome marketing on GoG or it's selling well there too.
Cohhcarnage's stream had a huge number of people watching, and he directed them to buy via his GoG link so he'd get a cut
Yep, I'm rewatching that right now actually. I also say good for him. GoG is a great platform in my experience, and streamers will be a huge chunk of the sales for this game. Once people see the huge replayability possible and how much fun it can be to play, sales will go up for sure. GoG giving him early access is also a really smart business plan. You get a huge chunk of people getting hooked on a game and they will go out and buy it. Very likely in support of the person that brought them the sneak peak. There will still be people watching CohhCarnage who are exclusive to steam and bought the game there.
He's also going to be streaming more tomorrow.
