The size and scope of the tech tree, the mod system, the nuances of units, the diplomacy system. Even now I'm finding many units are not straightforward to use, and can be modded or designed for vastly different roles. This isn't a complaint. I'm having zero issues with difficulty. But I feel like compared to last ones where I mostly get things fairly quickly, this game feels like a mountain of untapped knowledge waiting to be discovered.
Is anyone else still a little overwhelmed even after like a hundred hours? Cause I feel like I'll be in a sort of awe for a long time. This game is staggeringly complex, but done right.
