Was curious to see if I was the only Harry Turtledove fan out there that enjoys modifying the game save data to set up scenarios such as alliances and in general conflicts as set in his novels. I know that Harry tends to focus on minor characters but it's still good reading and fun to think out how history could have been vastly different had the chips fallen in another way. To me at least I've always enjoyed reading alternate history fiction by a large range of authors and I've found many Paradox Games where you can really enjoy playing them out beyond simple imagination. HOI3 has been the best though as far as the WW2 era for obvious reasons.

If you love to sandbox the books in the game as well, what scenarios/books have you played out and how was the overall outcome?

For my next round of HOI3 I am looking to play out "The war that came early" book series.
