I think it's natural that things seem to be going "too" well. Everything we've been shown about CK3 so far has pointed to the game being, for the most part, an improvement over its predecessor, and something that (most of) the playerbase will enjoy very much. I certainly have based my decision to buy it around that, and am very eager to play it already.
However, to sprinkle a little bit of rain on my own parade, I think it's safe to say we are still in the dark about some areas of gameplay. We only have two more dev diaries until launch and we still haven't gotten much information on, for instance, how clan governments work, or on the more specific workings of holy wars and crusades, etc.
That's not to say that this opens the game up for disappointment, of course. I just find it curious that the last DDs seem to focus around the more technical aspects of CK3, while there are still some design elements and systems that haven't been showcased.
