Don't get me wrong i have loved basically everything that paradox has shown us about CK3, does it not seem like things are going way to well for a paradox run up to release?

The big succession bug reveal in the dev stream suggests otherwise, I will not believe that this is the only big bug out there. I do question their testing methods.
What bug? I hadn't noticed itThe big succession bug reveal in the dev stream suggests otherwise, I will not believe that this is the only big bug out there. I do question their testing methods.
No, they weren't. With every dev diary released more and more worried voices and criticisms appeared, some threads had majorly negative reception and already before the release it was known that Imperator had huge issues - none of these things happened so far with CK3 and I'm far more optimistic about its state on release. We will see in just 1 month. I do hope the release is successful, though, as far as remember, things were going well prior to Imperator:Rome release too.
Not sure why people care so much about the vassal contract feature other than it adds more tinkering buttons.compare to dev diary before release ck3 does looks better than eu4 ir or planetfall
especially the improvement on vassal contract
which means ck3 might be much better at improving existing system then eu4
well you would be glad to know, you only have to deal with your direct vassals. so not vassals of your vassals, as far as I am aware. Not sure why people care so much about the vassal contract feature other than it adds more tinkering buttons.
I (and assume most players) build empires with 50+ vassals and would get tired of direct managing every one of them.
CK2 sold millions of downloads, so the existing playerbase expectations will come first and be most important for core sales of CK3.I just want to note that new players and reviewers may have different expectations than us. They may complain about graphics (The models look bad! Too few polygons! Animations suck! Map texture is not HD when zoomed in!) Or complain that the game is too hard (Why can't I choose which son I want to play as? 0/10) and stuff that we don't even think as the problem.
Since the game made a big leap forward, there will be new expectations that we didn't have earlier. Especially the graphic part. It will be scrutinized by reviewers and new players now.
So I'm super hyped but the reality is, we don't know how well the game will be received until the reviews start trickling in.
Also knock on wood.
We've seen surface bits, but not yet the core gameplay: war, religion, Byzantium
