Your Prymus is named ZBIGNIEW OLEŒNICKI, in 1492.

An old man, he's been prymus for 11 years already. In 1492, he's a bit sickly, though. His experience has tempered his solid-as-a-rock faith and fire with wisdom.

He's very aware of the giant juxtaposition of faiths in our Mother Country. Thank goodness the state religion at least is the One True Faith.

Also, he's been making a lot of noises recently about contacts with the Pope - in the future, money may actually be flowing INTO the coffers of the Polish Catholic Church, to be spent there where devout believers are in need.

Your Prymus just became Prymas. It's better that way.

My King, I will be happy to marry these young nobles for you. May I speak to their families about the arrangements?

Prymas.

We would be very happy, since our dear friend, prince Mikolaj Radziwill personally expressed it's his wish that young couple shall keep their faith, but be married in catholic ceremony .

Naturally. We should meet in person and work out the details. We are not sure about the wedding date just yet, but i would suggest sometimes in summer 1492. I would like wedding to be held in Krakow, and since the bride is Orthodox, i think it would be best for Kiev Metropolite to attend the ceremony as well. We still need to sort out some details with father of the bride, but i think that's the general plan.

Faithfully,

Prince Mikolaj Radziwill

It is the opinion of the Catholic Church, I being its Prymas, that this wedding is good in the eyes of the Lord, even if the bride be outside the true faith. Dissident voices amongst my bishops have quieted and the wedding is scheduled to proceed in the summer of 1942.

I can contact the Metropolite myself, or you can introduce us to each other.

[I would like to introduce an element well-known to Roleplayers: 'In' and 'Out' of Character, also known as IC and OOC. Roleplaying through e-mail or technological forums requires it that IC and OOC be easily separated. Currently I am involved with groups who use the square brackets [ and ] as the way to separate IC from OOC. All comments made IC are made without any qualifiers. All posts OOC (such as this entire post) are made within the [] brackets.

I suggest we use this method here as well, so we have one easily recognizable style.]

[This is a demonstration of IC and OOC. The fact that it's an demonstration is an OOC comment by BadKarma, so it's inside square brackets. Now I'll make our Prymas talk a bit. (The content is actually relevant in the game, and for real, you can reply to it.]

Your prymas is pleased to announce the upcoming ceremony where your king shall be blessed in his continuing endeavors. Those nobles who are faithful to the true faith are welcome to attend, swear allegiance to your king and the faith, and receive the Church's blessing.

Following the ceremony, your prymas wishes to speak to you about monies from the Pope that need to be distributed to further the faith.

Cossack leader Mykhailo Skoropads'kyi rises and speaks:

My dear king, nobles, leaders of the Church... I Want to declare that even your so-called enemies, the Dniepr Cossacks, my people, give their full support to the marriage. It is vital that we stand strong together so that we can withstand foreign enemies.
I want to send my support and greetings to the bride... A reasonable amount of rich furs will be sent as a wedding gift...
Now, let's raise or glasses and celebrate this! Know that the Dniepr Cossacks are not thy enemies...

Ataman Mykhailo sits down, the crowd is cheering
